The Journal of Elite Sport Performance founded and based in the UK, is an online peer-reviewed journal developed by leading professionals with vast experience in elite sport and a track-record of published research impacting the scope of sport performance, injury risk reduction, recovery, rehabilitation, professional practice and analysis.
The editorial team are passionate about the publication of peer-reviewed research in the scope of elite sport performance from an applied interdisciplinary perspective. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academia and research in the fields of elite sport performance.
AIMS AND SCOPE
The Journal of Elite Sport Performance aims to disseminate contemporary and leading applied research in the field of high-performance elite sport with an aim to reduce the gap between theory and practice for sports medicine and performance practitioners.
We welcome a variety of research including original research, case studies on professional athletes, commentary, opinion papers, infographics, systematic, scoping and rapid reviews for example, with the underpinning focus of translational practice applications for enhancement of elite performance across all sports.
We encourage and support submissions from practitioners working in elite sport environments that are new to publishing or may have innovative ways in which they would like to disseminate their data.
